Who We Are

Covenant Community Church is a Southern Baptist Church located in Glasgow, KY whose purpose is to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all things Christ has commanded, to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 24:45-49; John 20:21-23; Acts 1:8).

We will seek to carry out this purpose through the preaching and teaching of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God and the authority for His Church by which all else must be judged.

We will seek to carry out this purpose through prayer, believing it to be antecedent to the bestowing of God’s grace upon His Church. 

We will seek to carry out this purpose through evangelism and church planting, taking the gospel to all the nations and preaching Jesus Christ until His appearance.

We will seek to carry out this purpose through worshiping God, encouraging fellow believers, supporting and participating in missions (local, domestic, and international), administering the ordinances of believers’ baptism and communion, and serving one another in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom be glory and honor forever. Amen.
